Choosing an apartment according to Feng Shui

Let's talk about a quick check when you need to understand whether an apartment is worth considering as a purchase option or not. Let's take a specific example - a new building, the house is still under construction, there are no doors.

And we will talk about what we can see on the ground and guess, because, of course, if you master Qi Men Dun Jia, then just look at the layout and understand whether you should go to the viewing

I’ll say right away that I’ll mainly talk about simple ways to assess external and internal space, because assessment using water formulas, the flow of qi according to San He or Bazi Feng Shui is only available to a professional who has studied these topics. But even without them you can see something!

By the way, in order not to return to non-metaphysical questions, be sure to make lists for yourself:

  1. what you definitely need, what you definitely can’t do without, for example, you dream of a bathroom with a window or want your house to be near the metro.
  2. a list of what you can refuse or neglect. For example, a wish for a grocery store within walking distance may pale in comparison to a gorgeous view from the window.

These lists will allow you to immediately dismiss some of the options, because feng shui is feng shui, but no one has canceled everyday needs and dreams. It is better to compose them not only rationally, but also after meditating a little on the topic “How I would like to live.” But that's a completely different conversation.

Go!

First, take a look at the apartment plan . And exclude from consideration all options with a toilet or kitchen in the center, apartments with a very strange configuration or with completely missing sectors.

You don’t even need to look at these:

(Sometimes apartments with missing sectors are suitable for living, but the decision must be made after looking very carefully at the bazi and the star map.)

External environment

The best thing to do is to come to the place and walk around. Not to mention the first impression of the place - like/dislike - you need to evaluate:

  • Landscape

It’s best to print out a map and mark everything you see interesting: elevations and depressions in the terrain (especially serious ones), power lines, unfinished buildings, open or active spaces, rivers or reservoirs. We will need this in order to compare the external environment with the Flying Stars map.

What else do professionals watch?

Be sure to study water if it is nearby: not only as an activator of star combinations, that is, those energies that will develop in the house, but also from the point of view of Water formulas.

They look at the lowering/rising of the terrain and the water mouth in order to assess the flow of qi around the house, as well as how correctly the house itself fits into the landscape, relatively speaking, its “carrying capacity” - whether it can correctly receive and accumulate the energy that flows through him. The assessment of qi flows is studied by San He. You can also look at the floor plan to get an idea of ​​how much a particular room will be able to receive and utilize the energy already in the house.

  • Exterior of the house

Your task: to understand where the front of the house is. Without this, it will be difficult to estimate the Flying Stars. Houses with an incomprehensible facade, two or three facades can immediately be classified as problematic from the point of view of Feng Shui. The problem is that the absence of an obvious façade will not allow a clear energy picture to form, which means it will be difficult to obtain a good result. Can people live in such houses? They can. But you and I want to choose a good apartment according to Feng Shui!

And here is our example:

The house is now being built in an area where most of the buildings date back to the 1980s-90s.

St. Petersburg is quite flat and there are no serious increases or decreases in the landscape around the house. Rivers or reservoirs too. We see an active intersection to the southwest of the house, an open space to the south. From the north, east and southeast the houses are quite close.

There is a problem with the facade of the house. It would be logical to assume that the facade would be on the main or secondary road. But no, the sales manager was not immediately able to say where the house was facing, then she said that it was to the north (where another building was closely adjacent to it). There will be two entrances - from the north and from the south. But from the south, where the main road is, a children's playground is planned and this entrance is considered a secondary one.

While the house is not ready, you can only evaluate what has been said based on the modeled pictures:

I would “vote” for the south, but there would be no clear energy picture in the house.

Inner space

  • Floor plan

First impression: there are no very crooked apartments, and there are no toilets in the center. Fine! You can “walk” through the apartments and see if there is a toilet in the northwest, a kitchen in the northwest or west. You shouldn’t immediately dismiss such apartments, but it’s not superfluous to make a note: then you will need to decide whether such a defect can be corrected.

By the way, in the southwest of the house (here you will have to take my word for it) there is a water mouth - usually this is the confluence of rivers or, in our case, the place where the Neva flows into the Gulf of Finland. One of the parameters of San He that can be viewed is the location of the elevator shaft relative to the apartment. It is advisable that the elevator be in the direction of the lowering of the area, the water mouth. As you can see, for most apartments here the elevator is located on the side of the elevated landscape, which does not have a very good effect on the capabilities of the residents.

Let's understand further.

  • Flying stars, conclusions from the map

In a good way, the correct Flying Stars map can only be obtained when the house is already ready, the doors are installed and, moreover, some time has passed after the house has been delivered. (In my experience, from 3 months to a year). Why? Because in most cases, the qi obtained when measuring the front door works (when you lean the compass directly against the door leaf).

What to do if the house has not yet been built? Experienced metaphysicians can turn to predictive systems, as I wrote above. But you can also estimate what kind of star map the house will have if the door fits well and does not distort. After all, ideally, the measurements on the door should be the same as those next to it.

If you can measure directions by standing next to your house with a compass, do it. If not, use the 24 Mountains Template (I remind you that we are not doing a full-fledged consultation right now, but are doing preliminary research).

Let's take another look at the 24 Mountains Template:

If we take the southern facade as a reference point, then we can get a map of the south 3, 8 periods. Let's take a look at it as an example:

We see 88 on the facade and this is not bad until the 9th period (2024). In the south and ego-west, as you remember, there is activity; accordingly, combinations 16 and 88 will be activated, with good water stars. Water (facial stars) are responsible for money and “love” space and movement, lowering the terrain. Mountain 8, of course, is not in such a good position, so potentially relationships and health in such a house will be worse than money. (Potentially because each family will have its own apartment, furniture arrangement, entrance, bazi luck, and so on).

After 2024, when the period changes, the leading party will go to the nine and now she will be responsible for a happy life. On the side of water 9, unfortunately, there are houses and quiet green courtyards. And if you look a little further, there is an increase in the terrain. The only option is to buy a higher apartment so that neighboring buildings do not “block prosperity.” But the increase in landscape will still remain, so 9 will not be able to give money at full strength. Gornaya 9 remains more or less intact.

  • Apartments

What we definitely cannot change in an apartment building is the front door. Therefore, let’s take a close look at the combination on the door, because the well-being of the residents largely depends on it. We take into account the entire combination, but, first of all, we pay attention to the water star in the combination. Now, in the 8th period, 8, 1, 9 are favorable (not in all combos) and 6 is acceptable (a lot also depends on who she is with).

Well... Only one kopeck piece on the door has a permissible combo of 16. All other apartments cannot boast of excellent energy at the entrance. 52 on a four-room door is no good at all, 34 is untimely, in pair 97 the water star is a seven, which means it will be active, in pair 79 the water star is timely, the money component is active, but 9 in combination with 7 gives, in addition money, and also problems.

Good news: the combination on the door does not always determine the luck of the apartment. It is very important which combinations are activated by the external environment. In this regard, an apartment with a combo 16 on the door looks nice - remember, there is a large active intersection in the southwest.

See also what combination the elevator activates relative to the apartment:

For an apartment, the elevator can be considered as an external activity. If it is on the side of bad combinations (25, 52, combo with water 2, 5 or 7, first of all), its influence on the apartment is assessed as negative. We put a minus. The two-bedroom apartment in the north-eastern sector of the building is lucky again: the elevator activates 61.

Well, there’s one more important thing that many people forget: you need to check whether there are good places in the house for beds, stoves and, if desired, work tables.

For the bed, the following are taken into account: the place, the direction of the foot, the direction from which qi comes from the door to the bedroom relative to the bed. We again need favorable, timely stars: 8, 1, 9, 6 is possible, but their combinations are also important. If we don’t get perverted and don’t place the beds at an angle, then we have only 2 options for the direction of the foot: south and west. And good places for beds are in the western, southwestern and southern stars. In the northwest, northeast and southeast you should definitely not place a bed, stove or desk. Alternatively, you can place the bed in the south, with the foot facing north, but this position also has certain disadvantages.

Let's look at the two-room apartment, which had good performance.

On the door of one of the rooms, relative to the bed, the permissible six is ​​active, on the door of the other there is a two, which we do not really like, since 2 is an untimely star and in this period can bring illness. All that remains is to figure out how to solve the problem with the kitchen in the north-west - and you can move in. Just kidding.

In fact, I deliberately chose a not very good option as an example. If you see one and there is still time, it’s better to look for more.

What else do professionals watch?

Of course, the Flying Stars system is more complicated than I showed it to you here; you should definitely take into account the nuances that can affect the assessment of the apartment, and take into account the gua numbers of people.

You also need to look at what qi enters the apartment from the point of view of the 24 mountains and how it affects the bazi of all residents, especially the head of the family and the main breadwinner (bazi feng shui system). After all, each person has useful and non-useful elements, and it is worth checking whether the premises support a particular person.

At first glance, it may seem difficult to make a choice; there is nothing to choose from. But I gave you the example of a rather unsuccessful house (with a high cost of apartments, by the way). Of course, there are no ideal premises, just like there are no ideal people; but you can always find housing with a couple of significant advantages and, using them, improve your life.
